James A. White III, MD, is an experienced ENT specialist in Alexandria, Louisiana. He helps patients manage ear, nose, throat, or allergy problems quickly and efficiently. Dr. White derives his genuine, caring approach from decades of experience and coming from three generations of physicians who served the people of central Louisiana for over a century.

Dr. White graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1964. He completed his residency at Tulane Affiliated Hospitals: Eye Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital, Ochsnet Foundation Hospital, Charity Hospital of Louisiana in New Orleans, and US Public Health Service Hospital. Now, he’s board certified in otolaryngology: the study and management of ENT disorders and diseases. He also serves as a fellow for the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy and as a clinical professor at Tulane University.
Dr. White has two daughters and three grandchildren. He enjoys hunting and is a talented cook and knowledgeable wine and travel enthusiast. Dr. White is also a published author who’s active in local, regional, and state community affairs, especially when it comes to education and youth programs.
